Georgina Lázaro

Georgina Lázaro León is a Puerto Rican poet whose work is focused on children. Among other awards, she received the Pura Belpré Honor in 2010, presented to “a Latino writer and illustrator whose work best portrays, affirms, and celebrates the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth.”
